NMDPRA GRANTS LICENSES TO THREE REFINERIES, BOOSTING NIGERIA’S DOMESTIC REFINING CAPACITY BY 140,000 BPD

The Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority (NMDPRA) has granted three refinery licenses, adding a total of 140,000 barrels per day (bpd) to Nigeria’s domestic refining capacity.
In a post on X (formerly Twitter) on Friday, NMDPRA announced that the newly licensed refineries include Eghudu Refinery Limited, which will produce 100,000 bpd; MB Refinery and Petrochemicals Company Limited, with a capacity of 30,000 bpd; and HIS Refining and Petrochemical Company Limited, which will refine 10,000 bpd.
