Ukan Idagbo, a Supervisor with the Zonal Coordination of the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB), launched five captivating books, including short stories and anthologies, at an event in Wuse, Abuja, on Friday. The event saw the representation of NCDMB, with the Executive Secretary, Engr. Felix Omatsola Ogbe (FNSE), commending Ukan’s literary achievements. He emphasized the Board’s mission to empower Nigerians in the oil and gas sector and related industries while pledging support for the distribution of the books to schools in the Niger Delta and recommending them for wider national circulation.

Ukan Idagbo, Supervisor with Zonal Coordination of the NCDMB, unveiled five books on Friday at a cozy event in Wuse, Abuja. The collection includes short stories and anthologies.
The Executive Secretary of NCDMB, Engr. Felix Omatsola Ogbe (FNSE), and the General Manager of Corporate Communications and Coordination, were represented by Deputy Manager of Media and Publicity, Dr. Obinna Ezeobi. In his remarks, the Executive Secretary outlined the NCDMB’s mission to build the capacity of Nigerian companies and individuals to participate in the oil and gas sector, while ensuring compliance with the Nigerian Oil and Gas Industry Content Development Act.

He also highlighted NCDMB’s commitment to supporting Nigerians in other industries connected to the oil sector to create job opportunities. He praised Ukan’s literary contributions, noting that the books cater to a diverse audience and reflect the high caliber of NCDMB staff.
He further pledged that the Board would purchase a significant number of the books for distribution to schools and higher institutions in the Niger Delta. Additionally, he recommended the books to the Federal Ministry of Education and other relevant institutions for wider distribution to the public.
Mr. Joseph Adebayo, Manager, Zonal Coordination and Mr. Simeon Esiekpe, Supervisor, Zonal Coordination, were among other staff of the NCDMB that attended the event.
