SUPERCOMPUTER PREDICTS TIMELINE FOR END OF LIFE ON EARTH

SUPERCOMPUTER PREDICTS TIMELINE FOR END OF LIFE ON EARTH

News
By Ali Elias A team of scientists has used a powerful supercomputer to predict when life on Earth will ultimately come to an end — and the good news is, it's not happening any time soon. According to a report published by Spanish outlet LaGrada in April 2025, researchers concluded that life as we know it will become impossible on Earth in approximately one billion years due to extreme environmental conditions. Further confirmation came on May 6, 2025, when BGR reported that scientists from NASA and Japan's Toho University used advanced simulations to estimate that life on Earth will end around the year 1,000,002,021. The reason? Our sun will continue to expand and intensify, eventually making the planet uninhabitable. As BGR explained, the sun’s energy output will gradually inc...

THE REAL REASON NIGERIANS ABROAD CHOOSE CAREGIVING AND WAREHOUSE JOBS

News
By Els William  Nigerian-American real estate investor, Blessing Nwachukwu, has sparked debate after claiming that many Nigerians living in Europe and the United States prefer caregiving and warehouse jobs because they are “intellectually lazy.” In an interview with the Vanguard, Nwachukwu, who migrated from Nigeria to Russia in 2009 and later to the United States, said her opinion was formed while running a free tech training programme for Nigerians. “I arrived at that in 2022 when I started teaching Nigerians,” she said. “I opened a program where I was teaching Nigerians for free. I did not collect any money to train them for 18 months. Honestly, when I started training them, I thought I would just come and teach them software and go. Then I realised Nigerians don’t even kn...

WHY GALATASARAY COACH PULLED OSIMHEN OFF BEFORE HE SCORED A HAT-TRICK

Osimhen netted a brace in the match, taking his season tally to a personal best of 32 goals. However, fans and pundits alike believe he was on course for a hat-trick—or more—until Buruk decided to pull him off the pitch. “I prevented him from raising his career record a little bit,” Buruk said in a post-match interview. “I took him out of the game early, considering his next match. There was also the risk of injury and card.” The coach admitted with a chuckle that the move was partly protective, partly tactical. “He could have easily scored three goals toda...
