NCDMB APPLAUDS AS BLUE SEAL CHEMICAL UNVEILS STATE-OF-THE-ART PRODUCTION PLANT IN LAGOS

In a significant boost to Nigeria’s industrial sector, Blue Seal Chemical Production Plant Limited has commissioned a cutting-edge manufacturing facility in Ibeju-Lekki, Lagos. The landmark event, held last week, underscores the company’s commitment to providing high-quality and innovative chemical solutions while promoting local manufacturing and economic development.

The Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB), Engr. Felix Omatsola Ogbe, FNSE, was represented at the event by Engr. Abayomi Bamidele, Director of the Project Certification and Authorization Division at NCDMB. The delegation commended the initiative, emphasizing its alignment with the Board’s mission to enhance local content, drive industrialization, and position Nigeria as a hub for sustainable manufacturing.

Dr. Doyole Edeni, the Chief Founder of Blue Seal Chemical, led a tour of the facility, showcasing its advanced technology, robust safety measures, and large-scale production capacity. He highlighted the company’s focus on fostering local innovation, enhancing workforce development, and strengthening Nigeria’s oil, gas, and allied industries.

Speaking at the commissioning, Engr. Abayomi Bamidele lauded Blue Seal Chemical’s investment in cutting-edge infrastructure, noting that the plant would significantly contribute to Nigeria’s industrial growth. He reiterated NCDMB’s support for projects that boost local content, create employment opportunities, and reduce dependence on imported chemical products.
