WOULD THE WORLD COME TO AN END?

Would the world come to an end? Will it? Or is this one smoke without fire?

My answer is, yes. An emphatic yes. It will come to an end.

When?

I can’t posit that exactly; and nobody can. But read on, and you may discover some information worthy of consideration.

This article is a response to the one we published earlier,” countdown to apocalypse, NASA validate Hawkins chilling prediction for Earth’s demise”.

Considering Hawkins’ viewpoint, let’s approach it differently.

The cyclical flow of time or the cycles of life.

Paul Twitchell had this to say about cycles of time “the doctrine of cycles is built upon the same universal principle governing the functions of the universal laws which operates through an infinite series of wheels within wheels and cycles within circles, all bound to the same centre in the fashion of concentric circles. It builds its works in the periodical manifestation by taking into consideration natural facts such as life and death, day and night, sleep and waking periods, the four seasons of the year, the four periods of human existence, such as birth, growth, youth and old age, which indicate the cycle motion, and evolutionary and involutionary, or ascending and descending arcs, in the revolving drama of existence..

..the four cycles governing human life are the same that govern mineral life, vegetable life, and animal life. The same doctrine (cycles) also takes into account many facts about the constellation and their influences, as well as the major planets within this universe”  (Pg 161, The ECK-VIDYA, Ancient Science of Prophecy)

The doctrine of cycle simply means that whatever is happening at sometime will go away only to return later. It occurs either in an infinite change of baton by the constituent parts such as the seasons of spring, summer, autumn, and Winter, in our own case rainy season and dry season, or alternates like day and night, sleeping and wakefulness.

Some commonplace but less obvious cycles include minutes, hours, fashion, abundance, scarcity and so on. In fact every facet of life revolves on this wheel.

To what end, you might ask?

Let us look at the cycle of day and night. The two run in equal proportion. The day time, in traditional consideration, is characterized by light and activities while the night is the period of darkness and rest.

At the dawn of the day we are fresh and filled with much energy. However over the period of the day, as we work, we begin to tire out diminishing progressively in strength and concentration as we near the night time. Finally it is night and we lay our heads down in sleep.

The period of sleep affords our bodies the opportunity to renew our energy and strength. As the night turns over the cycle begins again with a new dawn.

As it is with day and night so it is with the cycle of birth and death. And everything including the universe of which our world is a part of is subject to the cycle of time or the wheel of life.

As we have day and night in our calendar so do we have the day and night of the universe. The cosmos and its constellation is a living, throbbing and pulsating ball of energy. It is this energy that keeps it in constant motion, and supports all the activities in it.

Every cycle of activity has its origination and an endpoint. And energy or energy dependent object travels a distance through the space time continuum from the point of origination towards the endpoint its strength begins to wane and deplete. It peak at midpoint before diminishing progressively. This is seen in the quality of work, life, enthusiasm, civilization, religion, sleep, wave, soil, and so on. As it declines, the efficacy, efficiency, relevance and reliability of the process or object becomes an issue.

The only way to improve on it, wave for instance, is to put a repeater or booster station to reinforce the energy or signal strength. This extends the distance it can travel; but even this has a limit to which it can be done before the entire system crashes.

This tendency is also observable in soil quality. In shifting cultivation begin with a Virgin land. The crop yield at that point is high, because the soil is rich in natural nutrients. The more we farm there the more the nutritional content of the soil would continue to decrease, reflecting in the decreasing quality and quantity of the crop yield. Finally we abandon the area and move on to another area. The land is left fallow to enable it regenerate and restore its lost natural nutrients.

Some people may argue that with modern techniques we have been able to have the same level of yield or even more. Great! Repeater or booster station. Even at that, have you considered the price? Everything in life comes at a price. The application of chemical fertilizer has its own side effect on our overall well-being. To take care of the after effect on our health we resort to drug -more chemicals both preventive and curative. And we strive to cure our own creation in a vicious circle. For every next step we take, we thump our chest at our scientific prowess in our ability to enhance or conquer nature.

What of sleep? At the point when we go to sleep the urge and the energy behind it is very strong. Over the period of sleep the energy behind it begins to go down and we tussle, turn, and eventually wake up. Beyond that point any further attempt to prolong sleep would result in restlessness, forcing us up. Fresh, we are renewed, filled with new energy and vigor -to approach the activities of the day.

The way it is with farmland, the seasons of the year, our body, so it is with any other energy dependent thing, sleep and wakefulness, prosperity and depression, sound and silence, activity and inactivity, and so on. Everything come balance in their full seasons. The exhaustion and resting are the impetus for interchange with the next but opposite phase, vigor and activity.

Energy in motion is subject to rest.

What has the forgoing got to do with the subject at hand; “Would the world come to an end?

Truth mirrors truth.

What is applicable to one is applicable to all. Whether in the field of science, technology, art, religion, it does not make a difference. The only difference is in differentiation, variation, or particularization of the same principle to specific application or need. If you discover one you discover all.

The day and night of the Cosmos is its period of activity and inactivity, manifestation and withdrawal, evolution and involution. Just as the year and its seasons, autumn, spring, summer and winter, so has the day of cosmos, golden age, silver age, copper age and iron age.

What are the features of each age; and where are we?

Golden age: During this period the universe is Virgin, new, the soil at its highest level of fertility. The land is vast compared to its inhabitants for few populate the universe. Man need not toil or spoil to feed. Everything flourishes in abundance for him.

Truth and righteousness rain supreme. Men are more close to nature. Life is lived in the Spirit of cooperation and akiness rather than competition with each other for Survival. Man’s freedom is unfettered. There is absolutely no law and courts to sanction or punish the individual. The constitution that guides social relationship is written in the hearts of men than in any external statute. Everyone lived happily. The golden age or what could be called The Paradise of time, last approximately 1,728,000 years or 4/10 of the cosmic day or cycle.

Silver age: in this age much of the characteristics of the golden age still prevail. As the age progresses, evidence of patches of degenerative tendencies become discernible. The population is increasing. Man now has need to protect himself. His first resort is the caves and tree tops. The crops no longer grow freely as before. As a result some amount of tilling and planting has to be done. Men began to be conscious of the need for his input in his Survival. This period marks a significant beginning in man’s growth of consciousness or self-awareness. The silver age lasts for 1,296,000 years or 3/10 of the cosmic day.

The copper age: At this stage the cosmos has lost much of its virginity with the degenerative process very visible. Men have deviated more from the center of themselves to the brink of the mind. It marks the beginning of savagery, for men have grown fiery in temper and ready to fight at the least provocation. Man’s instinct is to conquer and convert what is not his. It represents a destructive era. The universe has reached its peak and is on its way downward. This period lasts for 864,000 years or 2/10 of the great or grand cycle. Then winds up in the Iron age.

The Iron age: This is the last of the ages. It is the one in which we are living now. It is more or less the reverse of the golden age. The Iron age is the worst and the most violent of all the ages. Crime, rivalry, greed and negativities dominate.

Truth and modesty have taken flight. Fraud and cunning are seen as virtue rather than vice. Competition regale and men resort to hitherto unimaginable devices to outwit each other.

The Iron Age marks the lowest ebb in the individual and social degeneration. As a way to still hold himself together, modern laws, government and social regulation began to appear.

This compares to the application of fertilizers and other remedial solutions to still keep the farmland /earth productive. In other words, the institution of Kings, rulers, courts, priests, lawyers, and legal punishment are all indices of a degenerative period and not a mark of civilization.

The Iron Age is the dark era of the cycle and lasts for 432,000 years or 1/10 of the cosmic cycle.

The current age, the Iron age is said to have been inaugurated in the midnight of 3102 BC. You can do a quick calculation of what we have spent and what remains of 432,000 years which will normally end the Dark Age and send all of us to sleep. Dead.

Like the farmland, we can, of course, can extend the run of the universe before the final eclipse; but that depends on how we carry on in this universe.

As said before truth mirrors truth. Discover one and you have the underlining principle or basis for your various applications.

Before the famed “doomsday”, eclipse, obliteration, or night of the universe, there are, however, bound to be some minor or major cataclysms and upheavals in parts of the world which would alter the landmass. It has happened before and it’s bound to happen again.

We must have heard of previous civilizations which were said to be far more advanced in technology than we presently boast of. Famous among them we are the continents of Lemuria, and Atlantis.

Lemuria was the first to go under in a gust of earthquakes and tidal waves. Today the Pacific Ocean, it is said rolls on gloriously in the place where that once flourishing civilization extended.

Atlantis on the other hand is said to have existed mid what is now Atlantic Ocean, between North Africa and South America. Its boundaries extended to Egypt, Greece, the Middle East and parts of the area around Black sea.

Atlantis also went down by tidal ways and earthquakes. It is also alluded that the early civilization of North Africa, Greece, and other surrounding areas, is traceable to the survivors from that ancient world.

Archaeologist and others have at one time or order found roads and technological tools submerged beneath the sea or underneath the Earth which were established as not belonging to any of the current civilization. There have also been some scientific evidences which date life on the planet to several millions of years. These scientific discoveries tend to lend credence to the great cycle.

As mentioned we can extend or shorten the life of this universe depending on our collective consciousness. In the long run the night of the universe will set in. Wiped out and put to rest, sleep. This is expected to last the same period as the cosmic day approximately 4,320,000 years.

Within this period the universe would be regenerated from all the depletion and havoc which man rendered to it. Completed and fully recovered, life will begin again with the cosmic day: the initiation of a new golden age or the first of the cycle of activity.

Not comfortable or comforting enough?

Let’s ask some funny questions. Need we worry? Don’t we want to sleep? Are we not tired of the rat race? Don’t we think the world needs changing?

Psychologists have told us that sleep has its good side: revitalization. We cannot keep our body functioning optimally stock on this 24-hour rat race.

By extension can the universe or cosmos, in which we run this race mindlessly, work on any less basis?

Truth mirrors truth.
