The Presidential Spokesman on Media and Publicity, Njuri Ngelale, in a statement on Wednesday, said that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has removed Kabir Mohammed as the Managing Director of the Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), and appointed Mrs. Olubunmi Kuku as the Substantive managing director of the agency.
According to the statement, the action was in line with President Tinubu’s determination to bring world class standards to Nigerian Civil Aviation in consumer protection and the promotion of the wellbeing of Nigerian passengers and other sectoral stakeholders.
Also affected in the on-going gale of removal and replacement of the Helmspersons of MDAs is Tayib Odunowo, of the Nigerian Airspace Management Agency (NAMA). He was replaced by Umar Farouk.
