 NCDMB, BAYELSA GOVT BEGIN PREPARATIONS FOR 2025 PRACTICAL NIGERIAN CONTENT CONFERENCE

On Friday, a delegation from the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB) and DMG Events met with the Chief of Staff to the Bayelsa State Government, Hon. Peter Akpe, PhD, to commence preparations for the 2025 edition of the Practical Nigerian Content (PNC) Conference. The meeting sought to brief the Bayelsa State Government and secure its continued partnership and support for the successful hosting of the annual event.

This year’s conference, themed “Securing Investments, Strengthening Local Content and Scaling Energy Production,” will be held from December 1–4, 2025, at the 1,000-seater NCDMB Conference Hall in Yenagoa.

The NCDMB delegation was led by Dr. Obinna Ezeobi, General Manager, Corporate Communications, accompanied by Mrs. Oyiza Preye Lambert, Supervisor of Events; Mr. Teleola Oyeleke, Supervisor of Conventional Media; Mr. Teddy Bai, Supervisor of Government Relations; and other officials of the Board.

The DMG Events team was represented by Ms. Olamide Oloko, Conference Producer; Mr. Olumuyiwa Adebayo, Delegate Sales Manager; and Ms. Chidinma Opara, Operations Executive.

 Bayelsa Government Reaffirms Support

At the deliberations held at the Bayelsa State Government House, discussions centered on preliminary arrangements for the 13th edition of the PNC Conference. The Bayelsa State Government reaffirmed its commitment to providing statutory support, a tradition it has consistently maintained since the inception of the conference.

 A Signature Industry Event

Over the years, the PNC Conference has grown into a signature industry gathering, attracting top government officials, managing directors of international and indigenous oil and gas companies, service providers, and key stakeholders across Africa. The event features plenary sessions, technical discussions, a world-class exhibition, gala nights, a golf tournament, guided facility visits, and a youth-focused programme designed to expose young people to emerging opportunities and skills.

 Focus on Youth Empowerment

NCDMB and DMG Events emphasized their determination to make the 2025 edition memorable, beneficial, and impactful. Particular attention will be given to enhancing the Youth Event to serve as a sustainable pipeline for capacity-building programmes for Bayelsa youths, equipping them with relevant skills for the evolving energy sector.
