MAGODO IS THE HOTSPOT FOR MARRIED WOMEN HAVING AFFAIRS WITH YOUNG BOYS – PRETTY MIKE

Popular Lagos socialite Pretty Mike has alleged that Magodo, a town in Kosofe Local Government Area of Lagos State, is notorious for married women engaging in extramarital affairs with younger men. Speaking during an interview on Arise TV, he claimed this trend occurs without the knowledge of their husbands.

Magodo, bordered by Ikosi-Ketu and Ojodu Berger, was thrust into the spotlight after Pretty Mike used it as an example while discussing societal attitudes toward infidelity. He was reacting to a sex scandal involving Baltasar Engonga, the embattled former anti-graft boss of Equatorial Guinea.

In his remarks, Pretty Mike suggested that open relationships—where spouses mutually agree to extramarital affairs—are gaining acceptance in certain societies. However, he expressed concern about cases where one partner remains oblivious.

According to him, “I think it is their thing. We are in a society where husbands are allowed to sleep with other women and women allowed to sleep with other men.

“In Lagos here it is heavy. Magodo is their headquarters in Lagos. Married women who sleep with young boys. Husbands of those married women are not aware.

“If you are a husband and you are not aware your wife is sleeping with other men that means something is wrong. Or it is a tight niche or a cartel where everybody is having fun.

“They know their husbands are cheating. They would just come together and say, ‘you know what, our Ogas are doing this thing, let us just have our own fun.’

“Trust me, any day this video or scandal comes out, I am sure it will be small compared to what we saw in Equatorial Guinea.”

The socialite’s claims, though controversial, highlight societal double standards around infidelity and raise questions about how marriage and fidelity are perceived in modern contexts.

These revelations spark broader discussions about the evolving dynamics of marriage and fidelity, especially in urban settings. If true, such trends could signal a shift in traditional family structures and societal values. The secrecy and deception involved could strain marriages and erode trust, leading to emotional and social instability. Moreover, the normalization of infidelity—whether among men or women—poses a challenge to societal efforts to promote honesty, mutual respect, and healthy relationships within families.
