Nigeria LNG Limited (NLNG) has confirmed that the recent explosion at the Gbarasin Ubie Gas Processing Plant in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State, has not affected its operations.
In a statement, Andy Odeh, NLNG’s General Manager for External Relations and Sustainable Development, reassured the public that the explosion has no impact on the company’s plant or its operation..
“NLNG is aware of reports of an explosion at a gas processing plant in Gbarain Ubie, Yenagoa Local Government Area of Bayelsa State on Tuesday,” the statement read. “Please note that this does not impact the gas supply to the NLNG plant or our operations.”
